Step 1: Start by submitting your user profile to potential landlords.

Before you can start applying rooms, you’ll need to get yourself verified and setup on our system. First of all, start by filling in your user profile using the form below.

Your profile will be kept confidential and secure, only being provided to legitimate landlords based on the criteria you have selected. For your peace of mind, all data is sent safely over our private servers with 256-bit SSL encryption.

Step 2: Send applications and chat with possible lessors.

After your profile has been submitted and you’ve been verified by us, you’ll be free to start engaging with marijuna-accepting landlords based on the rooms and properties you are interested in.

On each listing page you will have noticed an option to enquire about a property. These enquiries, along with your verified profile, are sent to the vendor who may then decide to invite you for an inspecton or reach out to ask more questions.

Step 3: Attend viewings for the places you’re interested in.

Once you’ve found a landlord and property that you feel comfortable with and interested in, it’s time for everyone to meet face-to-face and inspect the property in person.

This will give you a feel for the place, and also give you an opportunity to clarify all of the conditions of the agreement and to ask any questions about what your potential landlord may or may not be comfortable with. It’s important to be up front and honest about what you’re looking for to ensure everyone is on the same page.

Step 4: Verification of identity documents and safety checks.

Following on from your inspection, if both you and the landlord are happy with the arrangement and you’ve been offered the room, we’ll need to verify your identity and your potential landlord may also ask for a criminal background check.

Just like any rental arrangement, a landlord has a lot at stake financially and these checks will give them peace of mind that you are who you say you are and that they can trust you to look after the place and pay your rent.

Step 5: Contracts and agreements are signed between all parties.

On successful verification of your documents and relevant checks, your landlord will present you with a specially drafted Occupancy Agreement which has been underwritten by Chamberlain’s Law Firm and is designed to protect your rights and negate the risk of entering into the cannabis economy.

This gives you peace of mind that you are in fact living in a marijuana-friendly property and you won’t be illegally kicked out or mistreated so long as you follow the house rules.
